The Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date with burgundy-tone glacier pattern dial is reminiscent of the deep red colour of the evening sun as it hits the glacier. The glacier pattern dial is inspired by the Mer de Glace - Sea of Ice - the main glacier of the Mont-Blanc Massif. Its texture was achieved using an almost-forgotten ancestral technique called gratté-boisé. The timepiece comes with a black unidirectional ceramic bezel, a 3D engraving on the case back, and an interchangeable stainless stteel bracelet with fine adjustment system. The timepiece conforms to the ISO 6425 norm for scuba diving and comes with a water resistance of 300 meters.
